What size is a server rack?
Classic server racks come in 42/47, less often 48-unit size. Each unit has a height of 1.75 inches. A single-unit server is always smaller so that it can be quickly put in or taken out of the rack. Keep in mind that first and last unit are rarely used because of their proximity to wires.
Can I rent a rack in a data center?
